The building is entered below grade and rises through a stair hall, so the sequence had to feel generous without a tall room. Walls are set out in large stone panels with thin metal reveals that hold a single horizontal datum across every space, and the ceiling is stepped so all light is indirect.

Circulation for a full minyan was planned first: coat alcoves are pulled into arched timber portals off the corridor rather than lining it, keeping the walking width clear. Hebrew signage is dimensional and set directly on the stone, so wayfinding belongs to the architecture instead of being applied to it.

Beyond the shul itself, the same language carries into the classroom wing: angled bronze door frames, oak portals with numbered signage, and a stair landing lounge that gives the building a quiet place to pause.
