The 9 Business Center

The lobby had to work as arrival, wayfinding and waiting room at once. A full-height oak and plaster wall absorbs all three: identity signage on the flat panels, elevator and stair access in the reveals, and a bench that reads as part of the wall.

Textured stone insets and concealed cove lighting give the space depth at low cost, and every panel dimension was set to standard sheet sizes to keep fabrication efficient.
